Early morning in the workrooms to assemble and cross check components for a lovely install at London’s beautiful #Wyndhamstheatre Charingcross road later this week. The blue swag and tail arrangement that MarkyMarc is pictured dressing, is destined for the Littlewood room (named after Joan Littlewood, famous theatre director….. #Ohwhatalovelywar #Fingsaintwottheyusedtobe #Tasteofhoney etc) which 1. Makes me feel rather humbled and 2. You will be able to see for yourselves in situ whist enjoying an interval drink (now showing #Jeremyirons in #aboutlongdaysjourneyintonight if that tempts you). Pale blue silk with contrast silk tail linings, trimmed with a tasseled fringe and draped over an antiqued gilt curtain poles. Pleased to report everything passes inspection and the show will go on! Other swags pictured are designed for a rather special country house, to be teamed up with heavy drapes and upholstered walling. Looking forward to that install too.
